Curly Long Hair
Curly long hair seems to have a mind of its' own but with the proper technique it can be the perfect texture for versatility and style. In reality, curls give you the freedom to choose from the best of both worlds.
They're romantic and wild. And when they're defined, moisturized, and healthy, they're an attention grabber. Curly long hair has the ability to be molded quite easily and maintains styles and volume longer, without falling flat. I didn't always consider my curls as a lucky break, but they're beautiful when you learn how to take care of them.
Technology has even shortened the time it takes to style wavy or curly hair. With practice you can cut it down even more. Straightening irons make it easy to go back and forth, not to mention it can take as long to style your hair curly as it does to straighten.
And if you straighten regularly, your hair could probably use a break from the heat. I like to do this at least once a month, or more. I leave my hair in a towel for several minutes after a shower, then let it down to air dry. After it's completely dry, I run a small amount of conditioner over the bottom for a polished yet wild look.
Scared to Straighten?
If you haven't tried a flat iron because you feel it may take too long, or are confused about the benefit you might be surprised with what can happen after a little practice and care.
Straightening your locks every now and then can even keep your hair more healthy. Feel free to check out even more styles in the romantic gallery.
"I didn't believe that it could take less than an hour to straighten my hair, but after following your quick technique, it takes twenty minutes. Thank you!"
